About
I’m Jasmine, an artist and all round mess maker, living in Pāpāmoa Beach, NZ. I paint original artwork and murals. My work is a beautiful chaos of organic shapes and illustrative marks. I’m inspired by colour, form and nature. My creative career spans 16 years, with experience in fashion and textiles, graphic design and painting. My artwork is a blend of semi-abstract and illustrative styles. Heavily influenced by my background in fashion, my creative process always begins with creating shapes and forms through drawing or paper cut-outs. My signature aesthetic is achieved through layering and use of bold shapes and colour, using a hybrid of digital and manual processes. Collaboration has been a cornerstone of my creative practice. Along with painting, I also license my artwork for surface patterns. I have had the honour of working with the likes of Kathmandu, Bolt of Cloth, BioPak, Mitre10, Cricut, Nyne, Street Prints, Chorus, Creative Bay of Plenty and more.
