Public Mural in Tauranga - Groundswell

Located in the heart of Tauranga, this vibrant mural was commissioned by Creative Bay of Plenty for the Groundswell Festival. Designed to a specified color palette, the theme "Urban Jungle" guided the creative direction. Situated in a laneway, the mural needed a bright and contrasting color scheme to stand out. I started with a paper collage to experiment with shapes and colors, ensuring the perfect balance for this lively piece.
