About: Hello, I'm Katia, an artist based in Staffordshire, UK. I specialize in creating vibrant custom pet portraits using pastels, capturing those special moments from clients' photographs. Commissioned work holds a profound significance for me—it's about infusing emotions into my art, forging a priceless connection. I thrive on challenges and seamlessly blend subjects for clients with multiple photos. In addition to pet portraits, I also create family portraits, capturing the unique dynamics of families, including kids, babies, and children with their beloved pets. Pawtraits by Katia was inspired when my family adopted a rescue little dog, Teddy, in 2018. From local to global recognition, my work resonates worldwide. In 2022, I proudly exhibited at the Museum of Cannock Chase, marking a significant milestone in my artistic journey.

Reviews: Katia’s work is amazing. The picture she has done of our cat Matisse is amazing and very much like the photo we sent. It’s such a true likeness and has captured his personality perfectly. I’m really happy with it.

About: I am a Cheshire based artist and tattoo artist, I’m from Belfast Northern Ireland originally! I lived in Manchester for 5 years and have now been in Cheshire for a number of months. I love anything fine art and consider myself to be highly skilled in painting, drawing, and tattooing! I have tattooed for 9 years and painted since I could hold a pencil. I’ve took part in a few exhibitions but primarily done commissions over the last 10 years. I love being able to bring a vision to reality and seeing the clients reaction when we have reached the goal is second to none. I take pride in my work and am a perfectionist to the core, and confident in more than one area to achieve a shared vision/goal! Message me!

Reviews: Nicole was prompt, professional, helpful and friendly in all communication. Due to circumstances outside her control, I was unable to finish the project with her which was a huge shame but I am very happy to recommend her.

About: A Bristol born and based artist, I have been painting murals and signs for the last 5 years for companies and private clients around the UK. I've led and curated large scale projects with artist and funding teams. My most recent project was working with National Highways Agency and Bristol City Arts council to paint 3 pillars underneath Junction 2 of the M32 leading into Bristol. This project required me to conduct community research and curate a team of artists with designing murals for the motorway columns, whilst organising all the required legal and H&S requirements for working up at heights and alongside a major road network with National Highways permissions. The M32 Metamorphosis project was a big success and I hope to continue it with National Highways after maintenance works are completed in the coming future. I have no qualms with painting large scale murals or smaller private ones on a range of different canvases, walls and vehicles, every job is feasible and attainable with the proper preparations and work to complete. My illustration style has developed from reading comics as a child and has developed over the years since by taking influence from Eastern art (especially ukiyo-e and print work). I've been told by friends and colleagues I have a clearly distinguishable style of work compared to contemporaries in the local scene. That being said if my preferred style of work is not what you are looking for, please feel free to reach out and tell me what you are looking for. I will not shy away from a new direction to push my craft and skillset into. Every new challenge is life offering you a new olive branch of exploration and learning. So I'd love to hear about your project even if it isn't in my usual ball park. I have joined this website to bring my street art and murals to the rest of the world, I am happy to travel to paint in your town whether it's international of within the UK.

Reviews: Thank you for all your help on this project. I hope we can work together in the future.

About: I am a London-based self-taught Indian Artist. I have been creating art for selling to private buyers on a commission basis and have exhibited my work in various exhibitions. I also enjoy teaching Art to kids. I've been painting since childhood as a hobby which has now become my passion. For me creating artwork is like meditation. It hasn't just taught me much about the world, but also about myself. Art enriches my soul and gives me a beautiful perspective on life. I believe that "everything is emotion, to have someone else feel the same as I do is a tiny miracle". I specialize in Oil painting, Soft-pastel paintings, and sketches. My works are mainly landscapes, still life, and portraits with some flavor of abstract art.

Reviews: This was the first time I had ever commissioned artwork on bookanartist, and Swati made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable and stress‑free. Swati was incredibly responsive and always quick to answer my questions, which really put me at ease. Swati was open to every change I requested and handled everything with such professionalism and kindness. Swati is wonderfully personable, easy to communicate with, and full of helpful ideas that elevated the final piece. The artwork turned out exactly as I had imagined. I couldn’t have asked for a better first commissioning experience. A truly talented, professional, and thoughtful artist. Five stars without hesitation.
