Pricing starts at $1,250

Reviews:

This was my first time purchasing art, let alone having a painting commissioned. Kat guided me through the entire process, was easy to talk to and extremely helpful. I don't have much to compare for time frame but it needed to be done in time for my wife's birthday and I believe it was a very fast turnaround time from the start. Delivery once completed was very fast and done in a secure manner with no damage to the painting. The quality speaks for itself, Kat is an amazing artist and I was very impressed with how she portrayed our family. I would recommend anyone looking to have a portrait commission to go through Kat.

Reviews:

I teach a secondary school course on Urban Studies with one unit focused on street art and its significance to urban culture. I wanted my students to learn about the techniques of creating street art and graffiti for themselves and reached out to Chad to see if he was interested in helping. Chad communicated clearly and offered suggestions on how to make the workshop go smoothly. He was prompt in coming to our school and worked one on one with my students, encouraging and praising their efforts as they experimented with different techniques. The students appreciated Chad's input and came away with some unique and creative pieces of their own. Overall, Chad's professionalism and ability to connect with people were first rate and I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

Vancouver Painters & Canvas Artists

Canvas painting is a popular form of art in Vancouver. The city is home to a thriving art scene, with many galleries and studios showcasing the work of local artists. Canvas painting is a versatile medium that allows artists to create a wide range of styles and subjects, from traditional landscapes and portraits to abstract and modern paintings.
The Book An Artist platform allows customers to hire canvas painters in Vancouver for custom canvas art. These can be created in various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, or digital art. View an artist's work and contact them to discuss a commission. Custom painting pricing can vary depending on the size, medium, and complexity of the piece.
Canvas painting is a vibrant and exciting part of the art scene in Vancouver, and offers both artists and art enthusiasts many opportunities to explore and appreciate this wall art.

Types of Popular Vancouver Canvas Prints and Wall Art

Some popular subjects for custom paintings in Vancouver include portrait art, these can be of people, a pet portrait, or even objects.
Landscape painting or nature paintings, this can include natural landscapes, such as mountains, forests, oceans (wave paintings), lakes and sunset paintings.
Still life paintings, inanimate objects such as flower art, fruits, and other objects arranged in a specific setting.
Fantasy art, this usually includes but isn't limited to child-friendly artwork. Cartoons, bunnies, unicorns, butterfly paintings or horse paintings can make great additions to a kid's bedroom.
Abstract paintings, the opposite of realism art, abstract art is a style of painting that does not depict a specific subject but rather focuses on color, shape, and form to create abstract art.

Canvas Painters & Vancouver Painters

Artists and their styles have continuously changed throughout history. Classic painting turned to impressionist paintings and industrial art had its peak before even more styles came into the picture.
A game changer for the art community was between the 1930's to 1960's. Mid century modern art was a time of social and cultural change. Artists began to experiment with new forms and break away from class painting and industrial art. This art style was characterised by its simple line art, black and white art, geometric shapes and particularly bold colours.
Creating art is a lot more accessible now which is why there is so much indie art. Independent artists, sketch artists and doodle artists often work outside of the mainstream art world and may have a unique or unconventional approach to their art and sketches.

Canvas paintings can be created using a variety of mediums, each with their own unique characteristics and techniques. The most popular mediums are oil paint and acrylic paint. Oil painting is known for its rich, vibrant colors and the ability to create a wide range of textures and effects. Acrylic paint can create a wide range of effects and can be thinned or thickened to create different textures. Acrylic paintings can also be varnished sooner than oil paintings.
Other medium options include watercolour art, pastel painting and gouache painting. All of which have differing application processes and drying time.

Vancouver wall paintings can be created for a variety of settings, such as homes, offices, or commercial spaces. They can also be created as gifts for special occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries.
Ultimately, where you hang a canvas wall art depends on the size and style of the painting, as well as the room and the purpose of the space. For example, living room wall art should compliment your furniture or act as a statement piece.
When hanging framed art, it's important to consider the lighting in the room and to make sure the framed painting is at eye level to ensure the best viewing experience. It's also important to make sure the painting is securely hung and won't fall.
