“I draw the chaotic and absurdity of here and there, until it becomes a place that will never be.” My work began as reflection of my own experience of displacement, loss of identity and belonging. My drawings are my continuous personal exploration of the tension between displacement and the placement of oneself. The drawings investigate time, location and space, and I have worked in many different contexts and on different surfaces to explore the idea of trying to recreate a home. Meanwhile my drawings portrait elements within the work that embodies the feelings and emotions that comes with the sense of displacement. Emphasizing these themes, I exploit the lines and shapes by distorting, scattering and pushing perspective towards creating beautiful and intricate places and spaces that are filled with hidden stories and poetry.

I have been drawing characters since I was a kid and would spend the hour long bus ride home from primary school taking requests of what character to draw next. Every character I draw has distinctively large eyes that almost stare into your soul. My characters are cute, engaging, humorous and often a little chubby. I especially like to work in a bright modern colour palette but can adapt to suit your vision. I have worked as a freelance illustrator for the past 15 years creating artwork for branding, children's books, educational resources, interactive learning applications. In the past few years I have moved into doing murals and absolutely love it. I have created murals for schools, early childhood education centres, city councils and even residential homes. These murals I painted with brushes. I am always keen to push my style in different directions and can adapt to suit your creative vision.

Hi I'm Vanessa! I have always loved painting. I'm a yoga enthusiast with a background in architecture, always looking for something to create. My art style is abstract, with transitioning forms and images that express the concept of wholeness. Awareness to details and connected ideas are what informs everything visually. Designs are almost always inspired by mandala's which have circles as their base. I'm located in the Waikato, and would be open to travelling anywhere from Auckland - Waikato - Bay of Plenty. If what I'm offering sounds like what you need, get in touch today!

I'm an artist based in Manukau, Auckland, though I can also be found at Waihi Beach. My art is inspired by the beauty of Nature in all it's forms. I usually work with acrylic and canvas, though I also have experience painting wall mural on people's bedroom walls. I generally create landscapes, pet portraits, animal portraits and I love experimenting with different colours and creative techniques. Art, for me, is not simply creating a pretty picture, but creating an emotion or memory in the viewer. If you can look at my art work and can be taken back to a memory, feel an unexpected emotion rise up, or even find yourself going on a journey into the painting, I know I have done my job well.

A great experience from start to finish! Shannon did a super job of taking our vague initial theme and ideas and developing it into a really fun and personalised concept. The work itself was completed quickly, on-time and without mess or fuss - and the completed mural looks great! Very highly recommended.

Ola was incredible from start to finish. Her designs were totally on brief. She was very happy to come to me to do the work and worked diligently and very hard. The work is exquisite and perfect for what I needed. Thank you so much Ola

Neha was a professional throughout the process. She provide her deliverables on time. She was willing to working within the constraints of the location (she had to work behind hoardings due to mall regulations!!). The final artwork was appreciated by everyone who came across it.
