About: I’m a contemporary narrative painter, illustrator, and muralist who lives in Boulder City, Nevada. My colorful paintings breathe new life into historical, literary, and mythological stories. Of late, my paintings have joined 13 solo shows and 87 group shows at 47 galleries and museums in 11 states. I’ve painted 40 murals for cities, counties, school districts, corporations, and non-profits in Nevada, California, Colorado, Ohio, and Alabama. For fun, I participate in Southwest chalk festivals, build animatronic sculptures, and attend in artistic events such as Burning Man.

Reviews: Kahdija was crucial in reproducing images of my great-great grandmother and grandmother's siblings, as well as their mother, that had become lost over time. The images were presented to my family as a way for them to remember each person in the photo. During the process, I was looking forward to seeing how it would turn out, and she outdid herself. About: Since the age of 4 I had I love for drawing. I started with drawing some of my favorite cartoon characters, sitting in front of the television eating toast and drinking milk with my sketch book drawing various cartoons From Disney, Hanna Barbera, Nickelodeon, Looney Tunes and various comic book characters/super heroes. From there I grew a love for architecture specifically European cathedrals. I was highly fascinated by the art involved in building such beautiful structures. I started practice still life. While practicing still life and also being a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I started to study the artist the turtles the artist were named after mainly Michael Angelo and Leonardo. Both artist being in my top 3 favorite artist along with Salvador Dali, I fell in love with surrealism. In 2008 I attended The Art Institute of California-Orange County where I studied animation. I went for only one year with a gpa of 3.8. I was force to drop out due to not being able to afford going. In my 3rd semester the Dean called me into the office and told me that I wasn’t going to make it in his school before him becoming my color theory teacher and failing me. That school got shut down and a huge lawsuit case against them. Karma I guess is real. After dropping out of there I got into cosmetology where I was able to get licensed and work throughout Los Angeles county. Due to a lot of racial discrimination in the business I fell out of love and gave up. I really only turned to it as a back up to art/architecture. In 2013 I went to a full moon camping party where I met this amazing artist. While in awe of his work, artist Michael Heltebrake paused his live painting to speak with me. We converse for a while when he finally convinced me to start painting. I tried painting in high school but I was fearful of making mistakes and not being able to get it right and correct. Turned out to be a very silly fear lol. Since 2013 I haven’t stopped painting. It’s like medicine for me now. Something I need to feel fulfilled in this world. I have so many ideas and concepts and messages that I want to bring to this world and share with others. I hope to fulfill my dream of being a full time artist. I currently run an online business where I share and sell merch and art.

Reviews: Darren was so great to work with! We had a brand activation at a university and he was a great collaborator on a unique project. The end result was exactly like the rendering and we got a ton of feedback that the murals were a great addition to the event.

About: I love bold expressive color combined with soothing gradients and minimal geometric designs. My work includes small to large-scale paintings on paper or canvas, installations and drawings in pastel or graphite. My skillset is rooted in representational painting and drawing (think life like realism and trompe l’oeil) and has grown into abstraction while continuing to utilize my skill set of creating life like depictions. I geek out over color combinations and the vibrations they create. I am energized by creating moments of suspended belief by using maximal color and minimal forms on painted surfaces. I currently am working and living in Los Angeles, CA. I earned my BFA in General Fine Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD in 2009 and my Masters in Fine Art at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA in 2021. My work has been included in shows around the world in Italy and South Korea, along with shows in the United States in Baltimore, New York, Santa Barbara County and Los Angeles. I have worked both privately and with corporations to achieve dream like spaces for clients. About: I am an Orange/Los Angeles artist, chef, and educator. I have been teaching art education, fine and performing arts for over 30 years. I most recently received my master's degree in social justice arts making. My own practice consists of found art installation and large graffiti inspired murals. Medium of choice...spray paint and house paint on wood. I am inspired by color, strong imagery, conceptual pieces and figurative designs. My experiences come from working in the fashion scene in L.A., theater, T.V., traditional and non-traditional art spaces, set design, education, live painting, and murals.

Reviews: Jamie and her team showed up on time and immediately got to work. Everyone was very impressed with both the quality and speed of her work. The chalk mural was a great addition to the event and visitors really enjoyed seeing the work in progress.

About: HEY! I'm a Philadelphia based artist that just moved to California and I love in to paint flowers. I've been painting flowers since I was little but decided to pick art up full time in 2019. I thought I wanted to be an art teacher at some point in my life, but really enjoyed the the flexibility freelancing gave me. So i juggle creating chalk menus, murals, canvases pieces, and occasionally host painting classes. I'm a breeze to work with, and look forward to bringing your vision to life.

About: I'm a chalk artist, moved to Los Angeles from Japan this year. I believe that chalk art and mural art can turn ordinary days into something special and enjoyable. My style of Chalk Art is very unique and isn’t known in U.S. as of yet. I have been featured in Japanese magazine publications and now ready to spread my art in Los Angeles too!
