Ones where I can freely express, learn, or be challenged! No job is too big or small. ...
I am eternally inspired by the earth and the forever dramatic difference and beauty between the lands within our world, and this shows throughout my work. I am a Brisbane girl who has recently moved back to Australia after residing in Dubai and finishing a 5-year career in the airline industry. It wasn’t until then that I began to uncage into society from the previous binding rules and boundaries, and truly start to be and express myself. Now In my third professional year as an artist I specialize in abstract art, using mixed media as a therapeutic and creative outlet from daily stressors. My ever-growing and changing style comes down to that and my current mood and/or predicament. Since returning to Australia I’ve been studying my Bachelor of Nursing, leading me to combine my passions in health and in art and launching my own project ‘Operation: Art’ held at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. At the hospital I hold monthly art workshops with a therapeutic approach for youth cancer patients, in hope to provide them with that same therapeutic outlet while also connecting, creating and learning a new skill. Among commissions, collaborations, and running my business and project I aim to continuously refine my work while also exploring and merging different techniques and styles.

My practice, more than anything, lies in the cross section of teaching and learning about art whilst encouraging bravery through art-making itself, for my students but also for myself. Over the last 3 years of teaching in the public sphere through my business Brave Arts, I have learnt that the one truth all my students and fellow artists seem forced to confront is the fear that we aren’t good enough and never will be. This is why for me, art doesn't exist solely within the confines of a studio or a gallery space. I live to inhabit the idea of art in the third space, where any idea or person can visit me at any point, and from there we will leap fear-ward, together. Through teaching and making from this mindset I am able to pass on the idea of Biggining, a way of life where all pursuits point toward the act of taking up more space, towards bigger dreams, fuelled by more self-belief and pride. I make art 7 days a week, I am quick, expressive, and my work is filled with action, energy and sass. I love what I do and thankful for every single job that comes my way. I hold a BA in Fine Art from RMIT, Melbourne, 2014, a current working with children card, and I have completed the Introduction to Disability Awareness through NDCO and ADCET, 2019.

Anything mural related!!!!!!! Painting makes me so incredibly happy and to share that experience with others is such a vibe. I love getting to know my clients and their businesses whilst im creating magic for them. ...
I use hand lettered words and illustrations to brighten spaces and faces. This is done through murals, digital art, chalk work and printed products. I have a love for thoughtful composition and delicious flourishes and I love working with shapes inspired by nature whilst using bright and interesting colour combinations. Self taught and obsessed with progressing in such a satisfying medium, giving personality to letters, words and phrases is my favourite way to spend any spare moment. My work is often about keeping it real and showing up exactly as you are with no judgement. I focus on encouraging kindness, authenticity and vulnerability through my medium and am forever finding new ways to facilitate joy for those that encounter my work. PLEASE NOTE: START PRICE APPLIES ONLY TO MURALS. Other work is often less (For example A-frames vary from $75-120 a side, depending on content.

Hi! My name’s PJ and I love painting on walls. I'm currently travelling all around Australia painting walls! I studied art in Italy back when I was younger, in a public art school-high school, much less fancy that what you’re imagining right now :) But, here I fell in love with daily art practices, interior design and history of art. I’ve been painting ever since (for over 13 years), worked on many different projects and gathered extensive experience with all mediums along the way. I’m a firm believer that art is therapy and over the past few years I run many art classes around Brisbane, teaching mainly watercolour basics, acrylics and up cycling classes. Currently studying a diploma in Interior Design, I enjoy spending my days planning my next custom mural or brushing colour on all size surfaces. Let me know if I can help with your arty ideas! let’s make your vision come to life together.

My art has been based on an ongoing body of work titled 'Absorption' wherein I ask to be invited into the homes of strangers and photograph the seemingly insignificant corners of their homes. These corners that you're so unaware you keep say a lot about your beliefs, your personality, and your rituals. I call them Indirect Portraits. These works started out as paintings (both in oil and watercolour) and have evolved into murals. They are also open to commissions. Outside of my painting practice, I regularly teach workshops on drawing, oil painting, and watercolor.

A great experience from start to finish! Shannon did a super job of taking our vague initial theme and ideas and developing it into a really fun and personalised concept. The work itself was completed quickly, on-time and without mess or fuss - and the completed mural looks great! Very highly recommended.

Ola was incredible from start to finish. Her designs were totally on brief. She was very happy to come to me to do the work and worked diligently and very hard. The work is exquisite and perfect for what I needed. Thank you so much Ola

Neha was a professional throughout the process. She provide her deliverables on time. She was willing to working within the constraints of the location (she had to work behind hoardings due to mall regulations!!). The final artwork was appreciated by everyone who came across it.
