Some projects just click—and this was one of them! Natalie from Max & Louie spotted an illustration in my sketchbook on Instagram and knew it was perfect for her beauty brand’s packaging. Being local to Pāpāmoa Beach, we caught up in her studio to chat about the vision. I explored different compositions, refining the linework digitally and hand-painting a textured background, a technique I use in my original artwork. The result? A dynamic hero pattern that adapts beautifully across packaging and colourways, giving the brand longevity and flexibility. I also created a set of custom illustrations for Max & Louie’s social media—bringing the brand’s personality to life in a cohesive, artistic way. Nat summed it up best: “Absolutely loved working with Jaz! Her attention to detail is amazing, and she was so professional down to the last detail.” Loved this collab! 🎨✨
