I’m Jasmine, an artist and all round mess maker, living in Pāpāmoa Beach, NZ. I paint original artwork and murals. My work is a beautiful chaos of organic shapes and illustrative marks. I’m inspired by colour, form and nature. I love creating work that is bold, vibrant and creates a talking point for everyone that views it. My creative career spans 16 years, with experience in fashion and textiles, graphic design and painting. My artwork is a blend of semi-abstract and illustrative styles. Heavily influenced by my background in fashion, my creative process always begins with creating shapes and forms through drawing or paper cut-outs. My signature aesthetic is achieved through layering and use of bold shapes and colour, using a hybrid of digital and manual processes. Collaboration has been a cornerstone of my creative practice. Along with painting, I also license my artwork for surface patterns. I have had the honour of working with the likes of Kathmandu, Bolt of Cloth, BioPak, Mitre10, Cricut, Nyne, Street Prints, Chorus, Creative Bay of Plenty and more.
