I’m Rebecca a Melbourne-based artist who has been developing my artistic style since the age of 16. Originally a tattoo artist, I’ve blended my tattoo style with my surrealist painting approach. My evolution into canvas art allows me to introduce the use of recycled plastic as a form of texture creating a 3d experience for people including visually impaired family members. My use of recycled material allows me to challenge traditional canvas art – utilizing it to add more dimension to my visual stories that explore the relationship between the conscious mind and the source of all things, an intelligence that cannot be seen.
