Controlled Confusion by Rebecca Dzartov in Melbourne

Controlled Confusion

2019, 16×16 inches (31x31cm), Oil & Acrylic on canvas. It’s funny how our perception can instantly change when given the right energy, this piece represents that “lightbulb” moment that happens once you’ve been born again, blessed with the Holy Spirit. Coming out from death into life, from seeing things separately in shambles to seeing one whole perfect divinely orchestrated series of events. The energy shift may happen in an instant but learning to trust God is a process. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced and am so grateful for is something the bible talks about, walking by faith not by sight. Letting the facts shape your perception and not your feelings. Feelings aren’t fact and can be manipulated. The biggest battle happens within us; Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Jeremiah 17:9 ‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
