Tiff and Her Brothers As A Cartoon
This commissioned portrait is of my clients girlfriend and her brothers. The client provided me with images of the subjects and an example of a cartoon. When I searched for the cartoons artist to give credit, I found that it was apparently created by Artificial Intelligence. So by using an A.I. filter on the photos of the subjects, I was able to generate a cartoon version which I then painted onto canvas. It was super fun to do, and I look forward to A.I. collaborations and working in this manner again soon!
Please also note the scorched and stained frame, custom made by my husband using upcycled timber. The frame has been included in the given proportions.

Meet the Artist
Sunshine Coast, AustraliaI grew up in Victoria and went to Ballarat Uni for a while, then travelled and painted all over Europe and ended up marrying a perfect Dutch bloke in the Netherlands. Needless to say that the art climate over in the Netherlands is much different from that in Australia, and I joined some interesting artistic movements in my time there.
In 1997 I finally managed to convince my husband to move to Australia and we have been in Brisbane and later on the beautiful Sunshine Coast ever since.
I paint landscapes, nature and portraits, but open to other subjects if the need arises.
I especially love portraits of children, as it practically makes me smile all the while I am working on them.
Lastly, my wonderful husband has (finally) turned his hands to framing, so all my paintings are now starting to look even more fabulous, and we will offer the option of a frame with all commissions.
