It is such an honour for me to have my work included in a museum collection! A shout out to my beloved repeat client Emily of the Queensland Holocaust Museum in Brisbane!
It is a super fun challenge and stretches my imagination to come up with ways to make the object look as close as I can to the original authentic artefact. Thank you again for hiring me, I look forward to our next adventure into history. Hopefully something about the holocaust that happened right here on Queensland soil that earned us our name. R.R.

Meet the Artist
Sunshine Coast, AustraliaI grew up in Victoria and went to Ballarat Uni for a while, then travelled and painted all over Europe and ended up marrying a perfect Dutch bloke in the Netherlands. Needless to say that the art climate over in the Netherlands is much different from that in Australia, and I joined some interesting artistic movements in my time there.
In 1997 I finally managed to convince my husband to move to Australia and we have been in Brisbane and later on the beautiful Sunshine Coast ever since.
I paint landscapes, nature and portraits, but open to other subjects if the need arises.
I especially love portraits of children, as it practically makes me smile all the while I am working on them.
Lastly, my wonderful husband has (finally) turned his hands to framing, so all my paintings are now starting to look even more fabulous, and we will offer the option of a frame with all commissions.
