First Encounter
My client recreated from memory the first time that he met the woman he now is in love with using A.I.. He then hired me to paint from that image. That made this a very unique and interesting painting adventure for me. There is something lacking in terms of warmth and passion in A.I. generated images, and my artworks are usually loaded with heart and emotion so it was a meeting of enormous interest. I am really proud of this work and am happy to have been able to breathe life into an image that was quite lacking it. The fundamentals were there but didn't really make sense. For instance the rays of the sun were there but stopped for no reason. Rays of sunlight hit an object then we see only the shade... or the rays fade.
The elements were there but there was no aesthetic feel for the composition. I added and enhanced foliage to get the eye travelling, made the space between the subjects facing each other the central focus, etcetera.
Included in the various angles images are the various framing options.

Meet the Artist
Sunshine Coast, AustraliaI grew up in Victoria and went to Ballarat Uni for a while, then travelled and painted all over Europe and ended up marrying a perfect Dutch bloke in the Netherlands. Needless to say that the art climate over in the Netherlands is much different from that in Australia, and I joined some interesting artistic movements in my time there.
In 1997 I finally managed to convince my husband to move to Australia and we have been in Brisbane and later on the beautiful Sunshine Coast ever since.
I paint landscapes, nature and portraits, but open to other subjects if the need arises.
I especially love portraits of children, as it practically makes me smile all the while I am working on them.
Lastly, my wonderful husband has (finally) turned his hands to framing, so all my paintings are now starting to look even more fabulous, and we will offer the option of a frame with all commissions.
