Rosemary and Karel could not have been more suited to our project! We can’t thank you enough for transforming our little photo into a beautiful painting! The kids can no see who grandpa was, it’s absolutely so much more than a painting!!! From the beginning and throughout communication and dedication to the project was amazing, the painting itself outstanding, Karels nice touch with the framework only complimented the painting, the price was very reasonable and its obvious it's more a passion then just a job which is what I was looking for, if you have a project especially a portrait, I would highly recommend Rosemary. Thank you x 1000!

Thank you Rosemary for such a lovely piece of artwork. Rosemary was so kind to take on this job to create this for our daughter’s kindy as our parting gift, and captured our vision, the colour and feel perfectly. She kept us updated throughout the process, delivered to us far ahead of schedule and was a delight to work with. I can’t wait to work with Rosemary again for another artwork we’ll get to keep! Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a talented artist.

Rosemary was amazing throughout this whole process, and was able to produce a great portrait of my partner and I that we will treasure.

About
I grew up in Victoria and went to Ballarat Uni for a while, then travelled and painted all over Europe and ended up marrying a perfect Dutch bloke in the Netherlands. Needless to say that the art climate over in the Netherlands is much different from that in Australia, and I joined some interesting artistic movements in my time there. In 1997 I finally managed to convince my husband to move to Australia and we have been in Brisbane and later on the beautiful Sunshine Coast ever since. I paint landscapes, nature and portraits, but open to other subjects if the need arises. I especially love portraits of children, as it practically makes me smile all the while I am working on them. Lastly, my wonderful husband has (finally) turned his hands to framing, so all my paintings are now starting to look even more fabulous, and we will offer the option of a frame with all commissions.

Pick me for these projects! :-

I paint with a lot of emotion, so my favorite projects have a lot of love in them. Weddings, family groups, children and pets. People laughing or being active outdoors, or with interesting indoor lighting. I also love sea and landscapes. trees and flowers.

I'll sit these ones out :-

Anything involving travel. I am practicing for on location wedding work,   but do not want to travel too far to get to a job!
