Whales and Waves by Rob in London

I had the pleasure of painting the windows for Whales and Waves, the small gallery/shop of a hyper-detailed ink artist based in Loughborough. For this project I designed a hand drawn logo which sits with his current script/roman branding. The final chosen design is decorated with flourishes that reflect the curls of waves rolling in and was painted in a pale gold colour so as to compliment the dark blue background wall and stand slightly separate from the whites of the shopfront trimmings and prints. It is such a rewarding feeling to add finishing touches to a truly independent venture like this and help someone branch out with their business and aid them in establishing their own gallery on the high street, especially when they’re a lovely person too!
