The Lancaster Arms Boar by Rob in London
The Lancaster Arms Boar
This was one of four doors of the entrance and exit to the the private dining area of the Lancaster Arms pub, Leicester.
The lettering was designed to sit with the aesthetic of their private dining room as well as include their boar logo. Because of this we decided for copper leaf rather than the usual gold because of it's warmth and suitability to the existing colour scheme.
Two double doors; on one entrance a surface gild and reverse surface gild for the other. I also applied the frosted vinyl screens for this one to match their existing doors, which also added another layer of protection to the lettering.

Anything hand painted is always a worthwhile investment as it will evoke a very tangible and human touch to any space. In the over saturated market of vinyl and digital pieces that are so common today, the marks made by paint stand out and outlive those of their pixel based counterparts.
Through many years of experience I have developed skills across a wide range of mediums and bring a long standing history of helping my clients get the most out of every project. I love working closely with you and your ideas the most, because that’s what really makes every project so special.
