The second piece in the 3-part animal series I completed for a client's baby nursery. This piece was created using mixed-media techniques with a neutral abstract background of acrylic paint, and layers of oil glazes and underpainting to bring the tiger to life. The tiger looks out, daring you to meet his gaze. He is centred, still, and ready to pounce at any moment. A powerful visual effect created through vibrant layers of oil glazing and detail work.
