This piece is an expressive interpretation of the song "Purple Rain" by my favourite musician Prince. Through his seductive and unmistakable gaze, we are able to catch a glimpse of the emotion and soul behind this well known song and the mysterious artist who created it.
The background is painted with acrylics and the eyes are painted with oils, allowing them to punch forward with high levels of detail and recognition. Painted canvas prints are available for purchase or art prints.
