In The Kitchen

This piece was a commission completed for a good friend who wanted to encapsulate the energy and character of her beloved Aunt and Uncle working together in their favourite room, the kitchen, as a gift to thank them for helping her through a rough period. They have been together for over 30 years and she wanted me to create something that was reflective of their connection and relationship. The end product was a warm and welcoming portrait of the couple engaged in their favourite activity together...cooking!
