I contacted Alex around two months ago with a big big challenge. My company was attending a big conference and we wanted to do something completely different from the normal booth. Alex helped us develop the idea little by little, after having several meetings between our team and her we manage to find the final idea. The execution of this one was not easy as we had a big booth (9SQM) and it required a bit canvas (5mx2.1m) and a lot of attention to detail. Thanks to Alex that walked us through all the process, we manage to take care of every little aspect of the booth. The result was amazing at the conference. We printed stencils with different words related to mental health challenges and people could come by and spray on the canvas with Alex's help, as she was guiding them on how to do it correctly, and at the end of the conference we revealed a message that we had sticked with vinyl letters. Alex was helpful from the beginning, her energy was amazing during the conference and most importantly she believed and understood our mission, which made it so easy for her to engage in conversations with our prospects when they were passing by at the booth. Will definitely work again with Alex it was a pleasure!

Alex delivered a superb series of workshops, delivering inclusive sessions with a challenging participant base. She took participants through a highly enjoyable course, effectively teaching the needed skills to deliver a fantastic outcome. Her knowledge and expertise were blended with her empathy and patience to create a holistic, supportive, and pedagogically robust experience which all participants reported as highly positive, requesting additional sessions. Following her sessions, we commissioned Alex to create a mural for our studio space. This process was highly collaborative, with Alex responding very positively to extensive notes, delivering multiple draft illustrations, and making amendments during creation of the mural. She worked a large number of additional hours to create this, clearly putting the artistic integrity of her work first in every sense; and our studio space now has a beautiful mural which everyone loves, and which has transformed a bland room into a space of art and creativity. I would recommend Alex as a tutor and artist in the strongest terms.

Working with Lespleen was a pleasure! The artist delivered four days of community workshops and produced a visually interesting mural on three windows for a new arts space in Kingston. Beyond being a fab artist, the community workshops were a great way to engage local people in their urban spaces and Lespleen is a fantastic facilitator.
