Sir William Henry Perkin was a British chemist and entrepreneur best known for his discovery of the first synthetic organic dye, mauveine, made from aniline.
Butler's green (small open space at the centre of Sudbury town, London) where this mural was made was his land. The church next to the park was his residency. Nowadays both of his owned land are given to the community to enjoy.
Friends of Barham library, a local community library, won a grant with #brentcouncil #lovewhereyoulive so that now they can remind to people the local history and so they commission me this work.

London, United KingdomHello, my name is Alex and I am a Mural Artist but also an Illustrator and a Facilitator. I work for different brands as a Muralist and for many different organisation as an Art Facilitator. Wild life and nature are the main theme of my art, however I am also a portrait artist. I work hard everyday to improve my skills and my knowledge for many years now. I love to please my clients but I find very important to collaborate with people who resonate with my work.
I am also a videographer, photographer and a fire performer.
I believe in the power of art in order to help people who are lost to find a healthy direction towards their own goal. Children thought me that art and beauty are needed for a fulfilled life.
Everyone should experience the life that reflects their own self and pursuit it with courage and determination not just for the benefit of the 'self' but overall for the whole community.
