Tom is such a lovely guy and talented artist. We loved his work and attitude. Would highly recommend. Reliable, attention to detail and communicative through out the process.

About
Hi, I'm Tom Ansell. Over the past 10 years I have dedicated myself to the craft of fine art and learning all I can about visual communication to share my visions with the world. During this time, I have studied at local colleges, university and at online ateliers -- all to better equip myself with an expanse of knowledge to impart into my artworks and murals. Additionally, I have taught as a tutor at community art centres, worked in private galleries, mentored youth and organized art classes, and taught at TAFE as an Art Lecturer. Throughout this entire period and into the present, I have been invested in life-long learning. Presently, I am currently strengthening my traditional art skills at Watts Atelier. My mission is to command visual language in a way where I can create wonderful works of art across the 2D disciplines of drawing, painting and printmaking, to showcase a questioning, curious attitude to living. For my customers and clientele, my aim is to provide them with artworks of integrity, crafted at a very high level of finish. It is my intention to provide them with the greatest realisation of their concept, to produce something of deep personal value and significance to their lives. These are my guiding forces and things I aim to achieve. For me, producing images is a way to open a dialogue between what is happening inside of me and taking place in the world, then sharing that with others. To create visual art is to share a story, to be open to questioning, exploring and retaining a sense of wonder and awe about existence.

I do not mind replicating an existing design

Pick me for these projects! :-

What excites me is working with people from all backgrounds, assisting them to realise their ideas and solidify their visions. Preferentially, anything that explores something that holds significance with the client themselves always holds my intrigue and interest. I like nothing better than establishing an open dialogue with the client and closely, delicately, following where the communication leads us to solidify the direction of the final image.

I'll sit these ones out :-

I am interested in most jobs. If the surface is decrepit or damaged,   I would be more reluctant to want to put my work on it as it would be counter-intuitive. Otherwise ,   I am happy to work on most surfaces and with most subject matter.
