I'm a modern calligraphy artist from Kyiv who’s currently based in Toronto. My way started back in 2012 with street art and exploration of letterforms. This hobby created a path for me into the OCAD University where I studied Graphic Design. Using collected knowledge, my focus shifted from the traditional image of a designer to more of an artistic perspective. Since 2020, I'm a great supporter of modern Calligraphy movement. The main idea is to absorb knowledge of different cultures & their alphabets >>> to transform traditional letterforms into more abstract / expressive / interesting shapes. Through this practice, I believe to unite those cultures together.
