‘Tonight’s the Night’ This is the second painting in my Femme Fatale Collection which is a celebration of the Divine Feminine, Female Empowerment, Sexuality, Sensuality and a Lust for Life and Love and loving the skin you are in! Society has lead us to believe that female sexuality and sensuality are taboo, and wrong, but deep down most of us have an innate desire to be liberated and free of these societal constraints. Don't be afraid to be who you want to be. When I was painting this beautiful and sexy woman, I was thinking of a name for it, and just at that exact time, the perfect song by Rod Stewart came on my playlist that sums it up with the lyrics: ‘Stay away from my window Stay away from my back door too Disconnect the telephone line Relax baby and draw that blind Kick off your shoes and sit right down Loosen off that pretty French gown Let me pour you a good long drink Ooh baby don’t you hesitate ‘cause Tonight’s the Night It’s gonna be alright ‘Cause I love you girl Ain’t nobody gonna stop us now… ‘ 16" x 20" 41cm x 51cm This work is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas and has been sealed with varnish, is ready to hang and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Kerry is an emerging, self-taught acrylic artist born and living all of her life in Perth, Western Australia, until her move to Darwin in the Northern Territory in January 2020. She is inspired by nature, spirit, life, music and lyrics and just like her music tastes, her artistic style, techniques and themes are very eclectic. Kerry's ‘inspired art from the heart’ covers a variety of themes which encapsulates her raw uniqueness and spiritual energy as she creates vibrant paintings of the beauty found in the details of her life. Kerry has a love of painting and creating and wants to share this with others to help inspire, heal, motivate or whatever emotion her paintings evoke, allowing the viewer to experience their own connection with the artwork. After years of searching for that one passion to ignite her soul and give her an outlet from her everyday life, Kerry discovered acrylic painting, and she has never looked back! She also realised from her own life experiences, that many other people have been, or are in a similar circumstances and don't know where to start to find theirs.
