During a meditation, my spirit animal came to me and said: "Remember who you are. Look inside yourself, you are more than what you have become"... so I had to paint it!! Yes, this is a quote from the Lion King, but it is through music, movies and the likes, that I get these types of messages for myself or others. I also name my paintings after songs for the above reason, and either the song will come on at the perfect time and will just resonate with me, or it comes to me randomly when I am thinking about my painting. This painting is no different...so here is "True Colours" “…But I see your true colors Shining through I see your true colors And that's why I love you So don't be afraid to let them show Your true colors True colors are beautiful Like a rainbow…” "Remember who you are"... we all need to be true to ourselves and show our 'true colours' that we tend to suppress to fit into the 'mainstream'! This painting is full of beautiful colours and textures. This work is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas and has been sealed with varnish, comes ready to hang and with a Certificate of Authenticity. 18" x 24" 45.5cm x 61cm
