All About That Bass

'All About That Bass' This is the sixth painting in my Femme Fatale Collection which is a celebration of the Divine Feminine, Female Empowerment, Sexuality, Sensuality and a Lust for Love and Life and loving the skin you are in! Women are becoming far more empowered than ever before, overcoming (albeit very slowly) body shaming and bullying and they are bucking society's trend of what is deemed 'beautiful and sexy'. Women of all shapes and sizes are embracing their curves, flaws and scars in a new found confidence lead by the likes of musician Lizzo and the 2023 Australian of the year Taryn Brumfitt, and this is the new 'beautiful and sexy'! Be loud, be proud, flaunt those sexy curves and love the skin you are in! All About That Bass is named after the Meghan Trainor song of the same name with the lyrics: “…I'm all about that bass, 'bout that bass (bass, bass, bass, bass) Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two But I can shake it, shake it, like I'm supposed to do 'Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase And all the right junk in all the right places I see the magazines (ah-ha) workin' that Photoshop (ah-ha) We know that shit ain't real Come on now, make it stop If you got beauty beauty (ah-ha), just raise 'em up 'Cause every inch of you is perfect From the bottom to the top... " 16" x 20" / 41cm x 51cm This work is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas and has been sealed with varnish, is ready to hang and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
