Released on February 3, 2023, the song is the first track from her upcoming EP "Preto," blending folk, pop, and soul into what Karoline calls Avant-Pop. The music video was filmed at the historic Bernardim Ribeiro Theater (Teatro Bernardim Ribeiro) in Estremoz, Portugal, providing a visually rich and intimate setting to match the emotional depth of the song. My role in the project included: Direction and Cinematography, focusing on capturing the raw emotions and themes of love and humanity that the song explores. Editing and Post-Production, carefully refining the visual narrative with seamless transitions, color grading, and precise alignment with the song’s rhythm. Collaborative Production, working alongside a talented team of assistants to ensure a smooth filming process. The video premiered alongside the single’s release and gained significant recognition, including airplay on MTV Germany, where it featured among videos from other emerging talents. "People" delves into the complexities of true love and humanity’s tendency to mishandle it, delivering a message of reflection through minimalist arrangements and profound lyrics. This project highlights my ability to craft visually compelling music videos that amplify the artist’s message, seamlessly blending visuals and sound to create an impactful storytelling experience.
