An indefatigable talented artist whose creation graces a wall in an obscure industrial district, now made radiant by her imagination. Melanie is a do-er, a person of great commitment , a rare gem in a screen obsessed world. Someone has to create for the retina to be delighted.

Melanie’s art is so beautiful, what a privilege to have her come and transform my home. From start to finish she listened to my ideas and created a mural that will be the talking point of my home for years to come. Absolutely thrilled, highly recommend!!

We engaged Melanie for a localised mural for our new Zambrero restaurant. She absolutely nailed the brief with the concept design process going so smoothly. Her communication and dedication was second to none. The finished product is just amazing and we will definitely be using Melanie again.

Melanie was just wonderful, all the way from communication and booking through to design and painting such a beautiful mural on my balcony. She really understood the vision that I had and brought it to life :) She is also such a lovely person and it was a pleasure having her painting over the weekend!

Melanie was simply amazing to deal with. Very professional, flexible with requests and completed the entire outdoor piece remotely and with zero fuss. Melanie has activated what was effectively a plain external colorbond wall into a highlight of our beach house backyard. Highly recommended!!

Melanie has transformed our theatre room wall into an incredible, jaw-dropping art piece. I love every inch and detail of it! She was very quick to respond to queries and was very flexible with colour changes too. My wall looks stunning. Thank you!

About
With a Bachelor of Fine Art Painting and a Masters of Arts Management, over the last decade I have developed my arts practice to incorporate finely detailed oil paintings and large-scale exterior murals. Examining our relationship with the botanical world around us with a focus on immortalising a sense of place, I use native flora to activate walls and canvases to draw attention to the fragility and vibrancy of our landscape. Botanicals, colour and birds are my thing, and I love working with clients to bring walls and elements of landscape to life. Taking my practice from predominantly painting artworks in the studio to large scale murals has been such an incredible transition. For the past three years whilst painting murals I have been able to work with amazing individuals, school groups, community groups and local councils who are excited to transform and beautify the landscape that they love. My passion is identifying native plants and birdlife that are endemic to an area, and then using colour and design to really elevate these elements, spurring conversations around sustainability and appreciation for our environment. I love art deco shapes and colours and these also feature heavily in my work. Every mural or commissioned artwork is a great experience to continue to make amazing art.

I paint my designs that have been created after working with the clients

Pick me for these projects! :-

I love painting both interior and exterior murals that really focus on botanicals, colour and birds. I get excited by public art projects and private mural commissions.

I'll sit these ones out :-

I don't really like just replicating an image - I'd much prefer to work with clients to find something that is unique and special.
