I love sketching a performance in front of a live audience, transcribing the scene to a blank sheet of A3 paper in front of their eyes - using only pencils. Magic! Portraits are hand-painted in acrylic on linen board, passing through my own lense to become colourful interpretations of the reference photos with a strong sense of composition. I keep you updated throughout the process to make those little tweeks that make all the difference to the final piece. Illustrations are developed with the client via good communication, so I provide 2 rough drafts and the opportunity to sign off the final piece before the artwork is sent in its digital form. Drawing is my passion, and I love to share it with anyone who wants to try. In my workshops I engage with each participant at their own skill level, encouraging each person to challenge themselves and work towards their own objectives within a group setting.
