This is completion of the first phase of our sculpture project.
David drew some fantastic drawings and kept making changes as per our requests. His communication back and forth has been comprehensive and mostly all in good time. He has really listened to our feedback and made changes easily. We are very happy so far with the initial small sculpture that looks very much like the original drawings. We can't wait to see the bronzing and the final product!
It was absolutely wonderful to work with Rosemary. Not only is she an incredible artist, she is also a truely lovely person. Within a very short time-frame, Rosemary painted ten replica cooking pots for the Queensland Holocaust Museum. The pot that she replicated was the only item that survived the bombing of an apartment in Belgrade during World War Two. Rosemary put so much time, effort, thought and care into this project and the finished pots look phenomenal.
