Working with Aurora was such a delightful and wonderful experience. She was very professional and an excellent communicator through the whole process. She executed my vision exactly how I wanted it, with all my special requests and created a bespoke piece of art and a unique gift for my friend, capturing all the magic that I could and couldn’t have imagined. Aurora herself is a gifted artist, intuitive with magical hands. I’m fortunate that I chose her as my commissioned artist. Thank you for bringing my vision to life. Forever grateful. Polixeni

About
Aurora is an emerging artist who uses oil paint, acrylic paint and digital media, however she likes to explore and experiment with other mediums. A recurring subject in her art is the female form, though she does draw men and tries to expand and study other subjects in her work. She completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries at Victoria University in 2018 then a Diploma of Visual Arts-Illustration at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2019. Aurora begins her artworks with a sketch, resizes it digitally to match the surface she is working on and creates a grid. After transferring that to the selected surface, the painting begins, though methods differ slightly depending on the medium. She prefers oil paint because of the vibrant colours and how it blends, creating smooth skin textures, which can be great when painting the human form. She expresses her feelings through her work and she tends to gravitate towards blue as it’s her favourite colour and can be seen a lot throughout her paintings.
