Luke, you have brought so much happiness to my wife and her family. This painting has the memory of her grandfather set in the history of their family. It was an amazing day to commemorate Him with such a beautiful painting. Thank you from all of us.

About
I create portrait art on canvas with oil paint. Carefully I observe, then slowly sketch form and outline. Then add colour, depth and contrast. I want to attract the viewer with a likeness which is familiar and recognisable. Then keep the audience searching for character, personality and energy. There is such a challenge in portraiture. There is such a thrill to see lines, strokes and colour transform into human form. I’m inspired by identity, story and temperament coming to life in art. I want to create artwork which catches your eye, that you can’t stop looking at.
