Tutto Passa by Brooke Lockwood in Adelaide
Tutto Passa
Painted on the walls of a restored colonial resort in the mountain town of Venecia, Antioquia, between the mountains of the famous Cerro Tusa and Cerro Bravo stands a mural that blends softness and sandy beige tones with bold accents of teal and terracotta, displaying a style that is both realistic and abstract.
In the centre stands a photorealistic portrait inspired by the iconic Tutto Passa a phase that means 'everything passes', this phase was tattooed on a famous Italian figure, who carried these words across his chest. This man was photographed for a collection of prints that conceptualise the beauty of imperfection and simple joys of life. The owners of the resort took a liking to the meanings connected to this phase, and envisioned a mural that weaves these hidden messages into their space.
