Ecological Park; Pico Dos Cabritos by Brooke Lockwood in Adelaide
Ecological Park; Pico Dos Cabritos
During my time in Extrema, I had the honor of designing and painting the entrance mural for the park. The goal? To create a vibrant, whimsical threshold that invites visitors into an immersive world of biodiversity and wonder.
The mural blooms with tropical foliage, bright floral bursts, and lively bold lines. It nods to the park’s native inhabitants—toucans, tamarins, and those iridescent butterflies common to the region—while echoing the elevated view from the peak. Each painted element reflects the park’s spirit: a place where healing nature, rich biodiversity, and awe-inspiring scenery converge

I wanted the mural to feel like a warm welcome—something that instantly sets the tone for the ecological adventure within. It’s more than decoration—it’s a visual invitation to breathe deeply, explore, and marvel.
