Pousada Sade Melhor, Extrema (Brazil) by Brooke Lockwood in Adelaide

On the exterior walls outside the private dormitories, I painted a series of hand-crafted floral elements designed to echo the pousada’s lush natural surroundings. Inspired by the Atlantic Forest of the Serra da Mantiqueira, the mural softens the architecture with organic shapes and flowing botanical elements. The painted florals bring a sense of harmony between the building and its environment—welcoming guests into their rooms with a light, natural touch that reflects the retreat’s focus on wellness, rest, and connection to nature.
