The Kintai Dream Tree

Acrylic on wall, 10m x 2.8m. Painted on an external wall at 55°25'06.6"N 21°15'38.8"E, Kintai, Lithuania, June 2019. This mural is a celebration of the various aspects of Kintai, a coastal town in Lithuania, and created during a 3-week residency from May-June 2019 with Kintai Arts. It features local icons such as the weather vanes, the Tuja, Ventes Cape lighthouse and bird migration, the Vyd?nas Cultural Center, and the historical house that is Kintai Arts today. The mural was created with the support of Kintai Arts, the local kindergarten (where it is permanently located), and 10 children (aged 9-13) from the local art school who collaborated by painting their dreams on the wall.
