A Cafe Love Story

Inspired by the final moments of my romantic adventure with French photographer, Pierre, at Cafe Tabac in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 2015. After spending four days together exploring the city and the Mekong Delta, this cafe down the street from our hostel was where we passed our last few hours together. I can still remember sitting under that umbrella, with Pierre to my right, as we shared YouTube videos that we liked, looked at photos of each other’s art, talked about random things (with the help of Google translate), and gazed longingly into each other’s eyes like star-crossed lovers.
