Music + Awe by Coco Lom in London

I worked with Common Exception to host a 'Music + Awe' workshop at NOW Gallery as part of London Design Festival. ‘Music + Awe’ explored how different sounds and beats help us create. We led visitors through a series of tasks in response to a live DJ set. We curated a playlist of different songs - from jazz and funk, to classical and drum and bass, and then invited visitors to explore how different rhythms and sounds inspire unique shapes, marks and lines through drawing and collage. We can host this workshop in any location and with any age group. Music has the power to bring people together and has heaps of benefits on our physical and mental health.
