Greenwich Peninsula Workshop by Coco Lom in London

I held my pattern making workshop at Greenwich Peninsula, using the city's shapes, colours and patterns as inspiration. Together we searched up high, as well as looking beneath our feet. We explored the patterns and reflections in sky-high windows and looked at the shapes made up by the walkway paving stones. Using these as inspiration, we made a series of postcards with paper collaging, stickers, drawing and colouring. I find searching for patterns very calming and soothing for my racing mind so it's always a joy to hear that people came away from the session feeling calm, with a new appreciation for their mighty and spectacular city!
