Walk + Awe by Coco Lom in London

I worked with Common Exception to create our workshop ‘Walk + Awe’, hosted at NOW Gallery in London. Together with our participants, we explored Greenwich Peninsula, walking around the Design District and taking inspiration from our surroundings - noticing the joy in the quiet city details. Back at the gallery, we then guided participants through a series of collaging exercises, thinking about shape, colour, texture and pattern. The emotions of awe and wonder bring heaps of physical and mental health benefits - from reducing levels of anxiety, bringing people together, creating curiosity and fosters generosity and compassion in us. We can host this workshop in any location and with any age group. We'd love to explore how we can work with you to inspire creativity through the quiet details around us!
