I’m Writing a Novel
This assemblage piece consists of vintage house plan ads from a 1950’s catalog. A full house with all materials needed could be purchased and delivered for $5000. Along with the house plans are images from the 1950s of American life. School photos, sports images, vehicles and landscape populate the painting telling the story of mid-20th century American life. The lightbulb creates the idea of a porch light being left on while the light also acts as the narrator of the piece. Size: 24”x36”

Houston, United StatesI am a Houston based artist working in multiple mediums and styles. I’m a studio artist with a focus on abstract expressionism and text based works although I’ve created works in all styles from abstract to portrait and a bit of everything in between. I also create large scale murals outside of the studio on just about any kind of surface. From large-scale commercial work to small, intimate personal commissions, I can do it all.
