This piece was created for a small, central Texas town. This town, Brenham, Texas is located in Washington County, known as the birthplace of Texas. Sam Houston played a major role in the fight against Mexico for Texas independence. He spent several of his younger years living with native Indians and was even given a name, Black Raven. I used latex paint and brushes for this project. Size: 25x18’

Houston, United StatesI am a Houston based artist working in multiple mediums and styles. I’m a studio artist with a focus on abstract expressionism and text based works although I’ve created works in all styles from abstract to portrait and a bit of everything in between. I also create large scale murals outside of the studio on just about any kind of surface. From large-scale commercial work to small, intimate personal commissions, I can do it all.
