Daily Beverages is a satirical illustration and speculative branding series that transforms everyday emotional states into consumer drinks. The project uses minimalist product design, mock advertising language, and exaggerated wellness/consumer culture aesthetics to explore how modern life is packaged as something optimizable, consumable, and performative.
Each piece presents a “drink” that represents a specific Kenyan social condition—ranging from productivity obsession and burnout to overthinking, procrastination, and emotional fatigue.
The work sits between illustration, branding, and conceptual storytelling, blending humor with critique. It reflects on how digital culture reframes human experience into trends, routines, and aesthetic consumables—where even hydration, rest, and mental state become “products” to be improved, tracked, or optimized.
The series is part of a broader creative practice focused on satirical design systems, narrative illustration, and culturally grounded commentary through fictional consumer worlds.

Nairobi, KenyaI'm a Kenyan illustrator, animator, and visual storyteller working at the intersection of satire, culture, and design. My work is driven by a simple belief: the most memorable ideas are the ones that make people laugh, think, or do both at the same time.
Professionally, my background spans data systems, operations, and visual communication, which gives me a unique approach to creative work. I enjoy taking complex concepts—whether they're social issues, business ideas, cultural observations, or technical subjects—and translating them into visuals that are clear, engaging, and full of personality.
My creative practice includes illustration, character design, editorial and satirical artwork, animation, motion graphics, branded content, infographics, and narrative-driven visual storytelling. I'm particularly drawn to projects that blend humor with insight, whether that's creating original characters, designing culturally inspired artwork, developing animated content, or crafting visuals that spark conversation.
Much of my inspiration comes from everyday life in Kenya, internet culture, gaming, technology, absurd humor, and the strange ways people navigate modern society. I love observing small details, exaggerating them through art, and turning them into stories that feel both familiar and unexpected.
When I'm not illustrating, I'm usually developing personal projects under my creative brand, Kesi Baadaye, exploring experimental animation concepts, creating satirical visual series, or finding new ways to combine art, storytelling, and technology.
Clients work with me because I bring both creativity and structure to every project. I'm comfortable moving from rough concepts and sketches all the way to polished final artwork, and I care deeply about creating visuals that are not only aesthetically strong but also communicate effectively.
