Bryders Feeding Frenzy

Auckland artist Laura Young has completed her latest mural in Orakei, Auckland. Her mural is about spreading awareness of the nationally-endangered Bryde’s Whale (pronounced Broo-ders) that reside in Hauraki Gulf. Laura says, "Tīkapa Moana o Hauraki is one of three places in the world where these Tohorā can be seen all year round. "Aotearoa has a responsibility to save these incredible animals and my part is to raise awareness to create action!" - Chorus 2023
