Most dog owners can probably relate to this St Heliers, Auckland,mural created by Laura Young. Who hasn't taken their dog to the beach and known that its attention is more on the ice cream you are holding, in the hopes that a morsel will come their way, rather than where they are going. Some lucky pups have their wishes come true. Laura created this because "this design depicts the colourful and bright world I see when I get to watch responsible owners walking their dog at St Heliers beach. "A person is eating an ice cream as they walk their happy dog down St Heliers beach. "It’s a hot summer's day and the ice cream has fallen off the cone, captured is moments before the happy pup gets a lick." - Chorus 2022
