A fluffy dog named Lucy
Some of my favourite works are quick studies of impatient sitters. I love the way we get to be playful and gestural in the work. This is a study of a dog I was pet-sitting for, made with acrylic and markers.
Meet the Artist
Burnaby, CanadaAllison is an illustrator, crafter and all round curious cat who is always trying to learn new tricks. Her practice draws on her culture, current issues and this contemporary moment. Through a variety of mediums - from bath bombs, installations to pattern-making, she explores her poetic sensibilities in many forms and dances between the imagined and lived realms of existence.
