Nature wows us again and again with its cycles of abundance and beauty. This series of "seed people" were made as a meditation on allowing ourselves to be a seed and enjoy seasons of darkness, gathering energy, living in faith of one day living in the light of day. Acrylic on canvas.

Meet the Artist
Burnaby, CanadaAllison is an illustrator, crafter and all round curious cat who is always trying to learn new tricks. Her practice draws on her culture, current issues and this contemporary moment. Through a variety of mediums - from bath bombs, installations to pattern-making, she explores her poetic sensibilities in many forms and dances between the imagined and lived realms of existence.
