My name is Lin Cheng, my artistic name is orangeland. I am an illustrator and visual creator living in the UK. I graduated from Shandong University of the Arts in China and the University of the Arts in London. Over the past ten years, I had some illustration work experience. Companies I corporated with in the past: National Power Grid Corporation（Shandong, China）, China Shandong Education Press, and Beijing Pineapple Circle Company. I also worked for the university magazine at the University of the Arts London. I divided the project into different sections for viewing. I have explored different forms of image and text. It was a long and interesting journey. I am interested in children, female, relational contexts and families and have created some stories around these themes. I believe drawings can convey feelings and emotions. During this long journey of painting, I have gradually added elements of traditional ink from my initial attempts at electronic painting. What I wanted to present was language that had a more sense of place.
