I'm born to a working class city near the Scottish border and have drawn about as long as I've been able to write - I remember hearing my grandparents watch me and say "look at the detail!" - it's true that I love the details but also the overall feel of flow is an underlying current in my work. I stopped after school, after being told there was no way to make a living - but in 2019 though "sod this", quit my job and got on a plane with a sketchbook. Along the way I have been inspired by street artists, travellers with their own sketchbooks, galleries - you name it. For myself I mostly illustrate but I love to paint for others; my best work is always for others - for what is a gift if not shared? ..it is also all I have because I can't speak enough French to get a normal job, please help me
